Frequently asked questions

What qualifications are required for each role?
  • Assistant Teacher: CDA, TCC, or Infant and Toddler Child Care Specialist TCC.
  • Lead Teacher: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA, TCC, or TCD.
  • Director: High school diploma or GED, 40-hour DECAL-approved Director Training course, and relevant teaching experience.
What growth opportunities are available?
